Despite numerous investigations and findings by U.S. Department of Labor, John Samuelsen manages to keep particular

E-Board members on staff at very high salaries that continue to vote repeatedly in his favor. Such members continue to vote him access to millions of Local 100 membership money.

Under normal circumstances TWU International's constitional authority and responsibility mandates intervention and action as was the case recently in Miami when TWU of America appointed an administrator after President Talib Nashid, Local 291 was removed from office for the very same allegations Local 100 President John Samuelsen has been doing since taking office in January, 2010. 

Is International President, James Little on the payroll of TWU's largest Local as well? Why go after the much smaller Miami Local 291 President and not Samuelsen?  What could be the difference? Does the TWU Constitution not apply evenly and fairly to all Locals accross the country?

Once again I do my duty as I bring forward new charges concerning yet another scandal concerning tens of thousands of TWU Local 100 monies. Will the Local 100 E-Board continue to white wash these charges yet again?  Finally, will  our International President, James Little check himself and step up to the plate?  Only time will tell as we anxiously await the next festive occasion as I file new jaw dropping charges that reveal John Samuelsen as a habitual pathological liar. Now John Samuelsen targets Elected Division Chair Chicel Defran and Vice-Chair Evelyn Figueroa. In a clear attempt at isolating the elected Chair, Samuelsen has dismantled the TWU Local 100 satellite office staff located at 15 Palisades ave, Yonkers N.Y. Local staff has been replaced with Non-elected Samuelsen supporters from outside the Division and has placed Westchester E-Board member Octavio "ozzie" Fernandez on full time staff, breaking his campaign promise of "No-Eboard on paid staff" Mr Fernandez a current double dipper T.A. mantainer, also holds a position as Bus Operator at Mile Square Transportation Bus company according to documents provided by Samuelsens office. Having Fernandez on Union staff, assures Samuelsen of yet another guaranteed vote on the Local 100 E-Board for many of the controversial votes undertaken by the Scab plagued body. TWU Vice President John Day displays no apparent interest in the minority dominated division. Several properties consisting of; Royal Coach, Ardlsey Bus and Mile Square Transportation are currently without contracts.

These actions have invited "Raiding" from ther unions interested in acquiring these properties and dues revenue produced.

Raids are currently underway without a credible Local 100 Challenge.

 Samuelsen expects you to pay your dues and swallow his  $10.00 tax; he knows he can get away with it...  he already has!

Samuelsen expects you to pay up, shut up, go to work and pay some more. Sadly, many of you reading this will do exactly that.

The Administrative Vice-President has been unable to read the TWU Constitution or comprehend its interpretation, precisely the reason he was chosen by Samuelsen to begin with. Initially given the task of supervision of the TWU parking lot, he must now make very intricate financial decisions for Local 100. Most senior officers would agree the task to be beyond Giboyeaux's abilities. His actions and complicity in this evolving mess should not be overlooked. Mr. Giboyeaux must be held completely accountable for his actions as his signature has undermined the office of the Treasurer for months and may have violated various laws. His willful violation of the TWU Constitution must not go unpunished.

John Samuelsen was charged by Treasurer Rivera on Sept. 25,2010. Those charges and potentially hundreds more filed by Local 100 members since January of 2010 have never been heard. Many including mine are being appealed to the TWU International. On October 29,2010 at yet another rogue Executive Board meeting at Local 100, a Trial Committee was created After the trial and removal of Treasurer Rivera. Suspicious?...absolutely! 

By-Laws amendment 13, Section C clearly states, Judiciary panel members shall not be on staff. Several members nominated are clearly on staff, in clear violation of the Local 100 By-Laws. Does it matter? Team Kangaroo already violated the TWU Constitution. Why should a mere By-Law violation mean anything to this lawless gang?

Larry Cary:

a lawyer who ran Samuelsens campaign effort for free with an expectation of getting the very lucrative head counsel spot after winning the elections. Samuelsen promised him a $27,000.00 a month retainer that often exceeds that. I questioned many legal bills submitted by him for months. These records should be requested by the membership. Would he serve as an attorney for the local or just Samuelsen at those rates. His neutral actions at the trial were questioned strongly and recorded. His law license should some day be looked at.

Jim Gannon:

Retired from TWU International. Presumably making nice retirement check. Hired by Samuelsen at $99,000 a year.Gets a free brand new union car to commute an hour and a half to northern NJ. Gas,Tolls and private parking across from union hall also included. Jim heads the bloated communications department at Local 100 that's been doubled in size since January,2010.  Jim frequently farmed out very large print jobs to outside non union printers. The cost was tens of thousands of dollars. Jim was a strong opponent of in house printing that could save the Union hundreds of thousands of dollars in the first 3 years alone. Samuelsen approved those bills exclusively. I refused to approve them. Looking at his political contribution records shows interesting patterns prior to coming to Local 100.

Tony Utano:

Is the current VP of MOW Dept. His election and several others are currently being scrutinized strongly for potential discrepancies in his eligibility related to bad standing. Tony is Johns close friend. He had a new Union Ford most of this year until he outgrew it and Samuelsen purchased him another car,a nice black Jeep just weeks before accusing me of an unauthorized purchase.  The record clearly showed a staffer purchased all TWU cars and Samuelsen signed the checks.

Executive Board convenes to remove Secretary Treasurer Israel Rivera Jr From office, in what could be the most tainted Executive Board in the the history of any union.
Local 100, known for its election process shenanigans has suffered yet another blow under the leadership of its current President John Samuelsen, elected into office on January 1,2010 and under the microscope since his first day in office has drawn even more attention with newly released documents showing he has violated not only the TWU constitution but the confidence of 38,000 members at a time when his administration has been rocked by hundreds of layoffs and evidence many of his existing Executive Board members did not qualify for current office because they were behind on membership dues at the time of the election. With many questions about his actions and his credibility and integrity in question, John Samuelsen's Presidency at Local 100 is now over. The MTA and Jay Walder are now free to run the TWU's largest Local.

With Israel Rivera's  illegal removal from office John Samuelsen is now free to continue using his TWU American Express credit card to purchase groceries. Recording Secretary Benita Johnson can also continue shopping at her local pharmacy with hers. Perhaps one day Samuelsen will surrender his TWU Credit card and stick to signing out large amounts from petty cash for those long trips overseas as John Samuelsen has done previously. With the assistance of JP Patafio and Executive Board member Tony Aiken, local 100 is flush with new money from the recent solidarity fund.  We should keep a close eye on that fund. Rumor has it only 29 members have currently signed up for the highly controversial fund.

We need to be vigilant on who is chosen (not elected) to occupy the Treasures Office and handle the memberships checkbook.

The actions of the Executive Board now move on to the next phase. The appeal process will begin immediately as International President James Little now comes under very close scrutiny as all this comes before him and the international body.

Seems Arthur has had a very long relationship with Local 100. Mr. Schwartz has been the Attorney quietly kept on retainer by Samuelsen to handle the cases most Labor Attorneys would rather walk away from. TWU Staffers who voted in the recent Solidarity Fund are denied the benefit. The recently hot issues takes another twist. Local 100 employees at the Unions  HQ pay union dues as Local 100 members. They also get to vote in the Unions general elections. The $10.00 "Dues Surcharge"  is also deducted from their paychecks for the fund. They get to vote for it pay for it, but can't get any of it. Follow me so far? The solidarity vote passed recently after the deadline was mysteriously extended at the 11th hour. The measure passed by only 64Votes. Have you ever wondered how many staff members are employed at Local100.

Answers to some common question's  members are asking

regarding potential lawsuits concerning Local 100 and the Solidarity Fund.

1. Who repressents the Local?- Lary Cary is the General counsel for Local 100. Address all legal questions, attention Larry Cary, TWU Local 100, 80 W.End NYC NY 10023

2. Who is in charge of the fund? - Ultimately the President of Local 100. The Executive Board has nominated  Board member Tony Aikens as chairman of the fund. Any concerns should include his name as co-defendant.

3.Have many people protested the Fund?- Yes thousands have signed and submitted petitions and charges to Local 100 Recording Secretary Benita Johnson, she has failed to bring these forth to the Executive Board prior to my suspension. The only charges Sister Johnson has ever submitted are the ones brought forth against me by John samuelsen.

4.Do I approve of the Fund- Initially yes. I voted at the E-Board meeting for it to be brought to the membership for a vote. I do not believe that vote was executed appropriately after hearing hundreds of complaints regarding missing ballots.

The weekly news paper "The Chief Leader" reports Local 100 Executive Board loaded with scab officers. What the hell? You mean to tell me the bums that recently voted to suspend me at the hands of the greatest imposter to sit in the Presidents office at Local 100 are in office illegally? I remember saying something to this effect recently when a recent Emergency E-Board meeting was called to charge me with the highest of all crimes. Coward TWU President Visits Kingsbridge Depot While He keeps Me Under Guard.

The Lockout and seige continues. I am still locked out of my office and escorted through Union Hall under guard as per John Samuelsen. On Monday Oct 11, 2010 I was Instructed by his eminence to proceed to a fifth floor conference room and remain there all day. Insanely enough the great threat to the MTA  sends email to my phone and states he will dock my pay if I leave the building. Why? he was on his way to Kingsbridge Depot, my home garage, with a large group of his buddies on Union payroll to intimidate the Bus Operators of MaBSTOA. Why do you travel with such a large contingent from your department John? Big man like your self feels that intimidated? Maybe you need a guard dog? You had me under guard remember? I chose to leave the Union Hall and not remain in the penalty box. Do you need my days pay so bad? Dock Me!

John Samuelsen recinds my vacation. I have been on vacation all week from Oct 3, 2010 through Oct 9, 2010 as documented by emails below. Samuelsen clearly waits for me to go on vacation before scheduling his kangaroo Executive Board on Wednesday on October 6, 2010. He obviously did not want me to show up for his bushwack E-Board move. But, I did show up and with plenty supporters in tow! Clearly not satisfied, he now moves to cancel my vacation Friday morning and states he will dock my pay for Friday! He goes on to send me an email ordering back all union property and states my vacation is recinded and the Union Vehicle will be reported as stolen. All this and I am still not convicted, remember? Kangaroo court ordered I be suspended with pay pending Kangaroo Trial. So what the heck happened to innocent until proven guilty? Is this the great leader of Local 100? Is this how he deals with the serious issues concerning Local 100 members and the MTA? Mr. Samuelsen's action are irrational and strange at best. No due process for Local 100's Secretary Treasurer at the hands of yet another synical dictator.

NY Daily News reporter Pete Donohue states Local 100's Executive Board voted unanimously to oust me. Really Mr. Donohue? Look closely at the names on Local 100's Executive Board then read This Document. As you can see the document clearly identifies problems with Executive Board member Tom Lenanes dues history. It clearly indicates he SHOULD NOT Be On The Local 100 Executive Board voting on anything. Mr. Lenane sat on the Kangaroo court that suspended me. Another bum on the E-Board. He is not the only one. The Scab Executive  Board is rigged. You should write about that and get your facts straight before you write a story. Other potential problems implicate Board Members Pete Foley and Tony Aikens as well. The latter member being appointed by MR. Samuelsen to head the very suspicious Solidarity Fund. It's official! I was suspended with pay pending trial in 15 days on trumped up charges. Local 100's fake executive board has not heard a single charge in this administrations 10 months in office. Yet they bypass all the hundreds of charges submitted to hear the mickey mouse story from the great Houdini President of Local 100. They even ignored the charges I submitted that predate this pack of lies by weeks!

Who will sign the really big donations to the Democratic Party I refused to sign when Local 100's political director came knocking? Mr Thorpe who makes $102,000 dollars a year to give away your hard earned cash will now go to the very intellectually limited Angel Giboyeax. The fun begins at Local 100 as all the bogus eboard members in office illegally are exposed. How? The Department of Labor has a list!  Late Wednesday night Samuelsen sends out E-Board meeting notice. Did everyone get one? Of course not. I was not notified yet again. I am sure those members he does not want present will miss this meeting. Board to convene the very next day at 5pm. A time when most board members can't make the last minute meeting. Samuelsen's loyalist will no doubt be present at the E-Board. Are we seeing another attempt at influencing a vote?  Is the deck going to be stacked against me again? Are we going to stand for this again? Come to your Union Hall at 80 West End, October 7, 2010. Stand and hold the line against injustice at Local 100!

Samuelsen deals with Solidarity Fund fires throughout the system

Treasurer Rivera's obvious absence beside Samuelsen indicates a large rift between the President and Local 100's #2 man.  Is Rivera not being told of these shopgates or is Treasurer Rivera keeping more than arm's length from the one term wonder?  My money is on both scenarios.  Samuelsen has made some very bad decisions lately and the membership is not exactly 'peaches and cream' with him right now.  He has no choice but to travel throughout the system attempting to pitch his wares to an angry membership.  Rivera's lockout from his office and email restriction is an obvious throw back to when Recording Secretary Darlene Lawson was locked out of her office for disagreement with another administration.  History seems to repeat itself time and time again.

My observations are simple.  Where there is smoke, there is most likely a camp fire.  Some of the people Samuelsen has decided to surround himself with do not exactly inspire the confidence the membership would like to see.  Selective soft questions dominate these meetings or shopgates.  Local 100 members need to break the cycle of subserviance and shake those bushes really hard so we can see what roles out.  We may all be very surprised one day when we start asking the right questions but we may not hear the answers we had hoped for.

Next we take a look at the assorted legal counsels retained by Samuelsen since taking office and the amount of money paid these high priced law firms all the while Local 100 has a full complement of on staff attorney's.  Are they really worth all that ca$h?

How much money are we talking about and did our Executive Board approve those large donations at a time the Union is broke?

Rivera wants to meet with the Executive Board. Samuelsen refuses to call a meeting. Is he hiding something related to the Solidarity Fund?

Samuelsen demands more COPE money contributions from us and fails.   He squeeks through the Solidarity Fund under strange circumstances and tries to put JP Patafio as fund manager by-passing Rivera.

Now we can't email Rivera because Sameulsen suspended his TWU email address.Whats next his pen, desk or maybe the notepads? 

Did Samuelsen trump up charges against Rivera? Why did Samuelsen lock Rivera out of the Treasury Office.  Are we going to be silent and not hold Samuelsen accountable?

What happened to Samuelsen's crap about "stopping the infighting"?  Are you going to take Jay Walders email away also?

 Is this your strategy for a new contract? Grow up Samuelsen!

        It only took 9 months and John Samuelsen lost:

900 jobs, his Treasurer and the confidence of the people and still raised our dues...

Solidarity Fund.... Not So Solid?

After a recent close vote, our Solidarity Fund deduction has begun.  Many of you are not happy about this deduction

judging from the number of emails received by this website.  To be totally honest, I am surprised it actually passed as I

didn't think it had the votes.  For the record, my vote was a YES.   At the time, I really thought it was a good idea, however, 

now I'm not so sure. 

The first problem was that  it could  have been explained better to the membership but the good news is it's only for six months.

The second problem is tracking.... THE MONEY.  

Our Executive Board has appointed 3 Board Members in an oversight capacity for the duration.  They are:

Derrick Echevarria, Lloyd Archer and Tony Aikens -  No one else.

Even though the President has tried to slide in JP Patafio in a strong arm move, the Executive Board is not having it, sorry Mr. President.  I, as Treasurer will do my JOB and protect the members money and not share or discuss any financial information with anyone other than those chosen by the E-Board.

I will not bow down to threats, pressure, or attacks to myself or my supporters.  I am not moved by attempts to smear my reputation or portray me as a lunatic and unstable.  Anyone who knows me, knows better than that.

I will fight tooth and nails for the right thing.

Not Happy?  Write a letter... lots of them.
